Baked tofu
Ingredients
500 g firm tofu, cut in 2 cm squares
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons shoyu
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sambal manis
1 small onion, minced
1 clove garlic, pressed
40 ml water

Recipe directions
To make the marinade combine the oil, shoyu, vinegar, garlic, onion, water and sambal manis. Mix the marinade with a food processor. Put the tofu cubes in a baking dish and pour the marinade over the tofu.Bake the tofu at 190°C (375°F) during about 40 minutes, turning the tofu 2 times. The tofu should be slightly browned and the marinade should be almost evaporated.
Serve the baked tofu with rice and vegetables or eat it as a snack.
